Quick weighing
Weigh the herd with an ordinary scale and your phone: about 10 seconds per animal, even without a signal.
Start a weighing session
In Weighing sessions choose New weighing, pick a group or leave it empty to weigh the whole herd, and press Start.
Type the last digits of the ear tag
A few digits are enough to find the animal; its previous weight is shown. Enter the weight and press Save: the gain and the daily gain appear at once, and an unusual change asks you to check the number.
No scale? Use the tape
Switch to Tape and enter the heart girth and body length: the app estimates the weight. A correction factor in the farm settings adjusts the estimate to your breed.
No signal in the barn
Weights entered without internet are kept on the phone and sent as soon as the signal returns. When every animal is weighed, press Complete.
